Dan Costello

Dan Costello has established himself as a leader in the automotive industry with over 14 years of experience, where he currently holds the role of Global Purchasing Director for a $10Bn Tier-1 auto supplier, Dana Incorporated in Maumee, OH. Since his undergraduate years at the University of Toledo as a peer mentor of male college students, Dan continues to grow in his passion for developing men and assisting them in discovering and cultivating their purpose in life.

Besides his work as an executive coach, Dan currently leads a team of over 100 people across 9 different countries at Dana. In fact, since graduating from the University of Toledo with a Business degree, he has infused his passion for intentionally developing people into the fabric of his career. His corporate senior leadership team recently selected Dan to create a professional development plan to leverage the leadership potential of Dana’s 400+ purchasing employees globally through one-on-one mentoring and coaching.

In 2022, Dan was selected as one of Greater Toledo’s "20 under 40". A Leadership Recognition Program, 20 Under 40 showcases dynamic leaders from Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan who are under the age of 40. The program recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves in their careers and/or in the community. In addition to honoring the recipients, the program is intended to help motivate young people throughout the area to become community leaders.

At the end of the day, what is most important to Dan is his incredible wife Laura of 12 years, and his three children Samuel, Abram, and Claire. Some of Dan’s personal interests are songwriting, running, journaling, and sports of all kinds (as both an athlete and spectator).
